दुनिया भर में अजेय किले के रूप में पहचाने जाने वाले लोहागढ़ के प्रवेश द्वार पर श्री गणेश का एक मंदिर स्थापित है. जब महाराजा सूरजमल की सेना किसी युद्ध पर जाती थी, तो उससे पहले इसी मंदिर में आकर गणेश जी की दोनों प्रतिमाओं की पूजा करती थी और उसके बाद युद्ध पर निकलती. क्यों है ये मंदिर खास, क्या है इसमें अनोखी बात? आइए जानते हैं.

In such a situation, Maharaja Surajmal thought that why not build a temple at the main gate of Lohagarh fort, so that God can be seen while leaving the fort? With this thought, Maharaja Surajmal got the temple constructed outside the southern gate of Lohagarh fort, but after the construction of the temple, when it came to the installation of the idol, the entire courtiers discussed which idol of God should be installed in the temple. ? At last, with everyone’s consent, the idol of Shri Ganesh ji was installed in the temple.

जब लोहागढ़ दुर्ग का निर्माण हो गया तो दुर्ग के बाहर यहां जंगल था. महाराजा सूरजमल लोहागढ़ दुर्ग से बाहर निकलते हैं तो उन्हें जंगली जानवर नजर पड़ते. ऐसे में महाराजा सूरजमल ने सोचा कि क्यों ना लोहागढ़ दुर्ग के मुख्य द्वार पर एक मंदिर का निर्माण कराया जाए, ताकि दुर्ग से बाहर निकलते समय भगवान के दर्शन हों? इसी सोच के साथ महाराजा सूरजमल ने लोहागढ़ दुर्ग के दक्षिणी द्वार के बाहर मंदिर का निर्माण करा दिया लेकिन मंदिर निर्माण के बाद जब मूर्ति स्थापना की बात आई, तो पूरे दरबारीजनों ने विचार-विमर्श किया कि मंदिर में कौन से भगवान की मूर्ति स्थापित कराई जाए? आखिर में सभी की सहमति से मंदिर में श्री गणेश जी की प्रतिमा स्थापित करा दी गई.

But this did not happen in this Ganesh temple. Both the idols of Ganesha installed in this temple are safe and sound. The priests of the temple consider it a miracle of God.

किले के बाहर मंदिर में गणेश जी की प्रतिमा की स्थापना की जा रही थी. उसी समय मुगलों के आक्रमण की सूचना मिली. एक और अन्य मंदिर में गणेश जी की प्रतिमा स्थापित करने के लिए अतिरिक्त प्रतिमा भी मंगाई गई थी लेकिन जैसे ही मुगलों के आक्रमण की सूचना मिली तो गणेश जी की दूसरी प्रतिमा भी इसी मंदिर में स्थापित करा दी. शास्त्रों में मान्यता है कि एक देवालय में एक देवता की एक ही प्रतिमा स्थापित की जा सकती है. यदि एक देवालय में एक देवता की दो प्रतिमाएं स्थापित की जाएंगी, तो एक प्रतिमा स्वतः खंडित हो जाएगी. लेकिन इस गणेश मंदिर में ऐसा नहीं हुआ. इस मंदिर में स्थापित की गई गणेश जी की दोनों प्रतिमाएं सही सलामत हैं. मंदिर के पुजारी इसे भगवान का चमत्कार मानते हैं |  Ganesh JI Mandir
