St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School

St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School

St. Peter’s School, Bharatpur, was established in the year 1970 under the aegis of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Agra, dedicated to the service of education and human development. St. Peter’s School initially commenced its operations in 1970 in a rented building at Ranjeet Nagar, with only nine students, one teacher, and two priests. These individuals planted the seed of St. Peter’s in Bharatpur.

Throughout the years, the school management, led by Reverend Father Thomas Paramundayil, who assumed the administrative responsibilities in 1975, served as the guiding light for the institution. Under his leadership, the school successfully carved out a niche for itself on the educational map of Rajasthan.

Reverend Father Thomas Paramundayil, through his strenuous efforts, acquired a sprawling 50 acres of land at the heart of Bharatpur city in 1977. Under his strong guidance and supervision, the school buildings were later constructed, and the institution shifted to the new premises. The Sisters of the Holy Family congregation of the Northern Province joined the school and have been rendering their valuable services, which continue to this day.
