बृज विश्वविद्यालय, भरतपुर, जिसे अब महाराजा सूरजमल बृज विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में जाना जाता है, भारतीय राज्य राजस्थान में एक राज्य विश्वविद्यालय है। यह चक सकीतरा, कुम्हेर, भरतपुर-321001 में स्थित है।

Inauguration of Constitution Park and Maharaja Surajmal Statue at Brij University
Celebrating the valor of Maharaja Surajmal, Governor Kalraj Mishra inaugurated Constitution Park at Maharaja Surajmal Brij University in Bharatpur on November 26, 2022, coinciding with Indian Constitution Day. The ceremony also witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for the Maharaja Surajmal statue.
The event was marked by a reflection on Maharaja Surajmal’s heroic tales, highlighting his significant contributions to the region’s history. As the governor officially opened Constitution Park, it symbolized a tribute to the spirit of democracy and constitutional values.
Cabinet Minister Vishvendra Singh seized the occasion to address concerns regarding the portrayal of Maharaja Surajmal in the Ahilyabai Holkar serial. The minister emphasized the importance of preserving historical accuracy in depicting the legacy of revered figures like Maharaja Surajmal.
Brij University in Bharatpur stands as the sole university in the region, embodying a commitment to education and cultural heritage. The inauguration of Constitution Park and the Maharaja Surajmal statue adds a significant chapter to the university’s legacy, providing a space for reflection on the constitutional ideals and the indomitable spirit of Maharaja Surajmal.
